Boston: Cupples, Upham and Company, 1884. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Brown cloth. 176 pp. Black and white illustrations throughout. An account of the author's trips on various rivers in New England in a skiff, documenting the sights and passages on rivers such as the Sudbury, Concord and Merrimac, the Housatonic, and the Nashua River. With a few small maps and illustrations throughout. GOOD condition. Faint discoloration/dampstaining along the left half of the front cover. Minor fading, scuffing and edgewear. Scattered foxing throughout, heavy to a few pages, moderate to the endpapers.
