About This Item

London: Neville Spearman, 1982. Third printing. Hardcover, octavo, blue cloth boards, gilt spine titles, pictorial dust jacket, 192 pp. Near fine book; very good price-clipped dust jacket, upper cover top edge creased and lightly warped, otherwise light shelf wear. Jacket design by Carol Smither. Burr pioneered studies and theories in Bio-electrics, herein proposing the concept of 'L-fields' as the fields of life through which electric current flows and can be measured. He further describes these fields as the communicative bridge connecting inanimate life to the living world. Burr elaborates on the blueprint for life which can provide an electrical mapping of biological, agricultural and physiological systems and patterns essential to understanding how their components interact.
