Hobson Press, 1945-01-01. Hardcover. Very Good. SIGNED by author. Hardcover with jacket, First Edition thus. Hobson Book Press, 1945. A fascinating and often charming slice of life from the perspective of a WWII poet. Book has yellow cloth boards with bright red pinstripes and titles.Very light wear to edges, binding is sound. Not inscribed, but signed on the FFEP: "Merry Christmas 1945/Happy New Year 1946/Joe H. Weston & The Spokane Sentinel". No other marks or writing. Jacket is clipped and shows some tanning and wear. Spine is somewhat sunned but still legible. Light crease to inner flap.Some chipping and a few small closed tears, now in Brodart cover to protect from further damage. All in all, a very presentable copy of a rare title.
