Book Club Associates, 1980. Hardback. Very Good/Good. First BCA edition hardback, 1980, with unclipped jacket. In overall very good used condition in a good dj with minor signs of age, handling and storage - dj faded to spine; black cloth boards clean and crisp. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read; no annotations or inscriptions; toning to page-ends but text bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book. Photograph available.
Synopsis
James McClure (1939-2006) was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he worked as a photographer and then a teacher before becoming a crime reporter. He published eight wildly successful books in the Kramer and Zondi series during his lifetime and was the recipient of the CWA Silver and Gold Daggers.
