Inscribed on the half-title page by Kosinski to Time editor Martha Duffy and her husband, with a signed business card stapled to the verso of the front endpaper, and signed again by Kosinski on the title page. Fine in a Near Fine jacket, unclipped ($8.95), generally toned, lightly rubbed at the edges. Black buckram with gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, clean internally. Kosinski's novel of the globetrotting George Levanter, who "finds himself enmeshed with heads of state, petty bureaucrats, industrial tycoons, sex scavengers, renowned scientists, jet-setters, and national heroes.
