The first edition of this work.Signed by the author to the title page. The second novel of the 'Icemark Chronicles', Blade of Fire, tells the story of five young siblings as they prepare to rule the kingdom of Icemark. It incorporates characters from and takes place twenty years after the first novel of this series, The Cry of the Icemark.This series has been critically acclaimed, and The Cry of the Icemark won the inaugural Waterstones Children's Book Prize in 2005.This copy is in the original dust wrapper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, excellent, with no discernible shelf wear. Original unclipped dust wrapper is lovely and bright, with no discernible wear. A sticker is adhered to the front of the wrap, which can be professionally removed. Internally, firmly bound. A few light marks to the Publisher's Page and to the gutter of the title page, and a few spots to the fore-edge, otherwise pages are bright and clean throughout. Near Fine
