Binding is tight and pages are clean. Former owner's name on front free end page. Unclipped dust jacket has several sizable pieces missing, but the majority of the illustration os present, and all of the type. Illustrated by n. Lapshin. The final chapter is entitled, "The Fate of Books. " The last line reads, "I close the last chapter with a regret that I have said so very little about so wonderful a thing as a book. " 135 pp. In protective Mylar. .
