Black and White is based on Naipaul's trip to Guyana in the aftermath of the Jonestown massacre, and his subsequent trip to the united states, in which he explores the link between the People's Temple and other radical and revolutionary ideologies. In a cloth binding in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart with some light rubbing in places and marks to boards. Dustwrapper in excellent condition with just some light shelfwear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
