About This Item
Secaucus, New Jersey: Castle Books, 1963. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. Reprint. Inscribed and dated by Henry Miller to Jean Sherman on the front flyeaf. Sherman translated several posthumous works by Anais Nin, including Linotte (1978) and Henry and June (1986). Miller's second published book, which is dedicated to Anais Nin. Continuing the subversive self-revelation begun in Tropic of Cancer (1934), Miller takes readers along a mad, free-associating journey from the damp grime of his Brooklyn youth to the sun-splashed cafes and squalid flats of Paris. Octavo: 243 p. Original light brown paper-covered boards, with a red stamping. Some general rubbing to the dust jacket, with a bit of toning along the spine and folds; otherwise very good.
