This copy is VG in a GOOD DJ. Exterior is bright and clear with modest crimping at the spine ends.and modest edge wear. Interior is clean, unmarked, and tightly bound. PO name stanp ( small ) on FEP and across top page edges. Otherwise, only modest/minimal, even age toning. DJ has a 1" closed tear at upper back spine, a 1" x 1" "L" shape closed tear at bottom of spine, and modest other signs of chipping ( mostly along the spine. Dj also has modest age toning..

Born in New York City in 1906, Black author and journalist Roi Ottley began his career as a reporter for the New York Amsterdam Star-News. He went on to serve as publicity director for the National C.I.O. War Relief Committee and served as a war correspondent in the 1940s.
