Stockholm: Wilhelm Bille. Poor. 1892. Hardcover. 277 p. 23 cm. Bound with cloth-covered spine and paper-covered boards. Upper board shows a scene of indigenous and white people beside a campfire. The front hinge is completely broken and the rear hinge almost so. The cloth of the spine is split along most of its length where it meets the lower board. The board edges and corners have some wear and both boards have some soil overall. Previous owner's stamp on the front free endpaper. Inside pages are generally clean and unmarked but have tanned along the edges. A young adult adventure story in Swedish. Set in the American West, this is a translation of the German Der Sohn des Bärenjägers by Karl May. Illustrated with five monotone plates. A book from the Vesterns Hjaltar series from this publisher. .
