Reviews
Wes Tancred accused of a murder he can't prove he didn't do, flees, changing his name and his manner--he takes off his guns--hoping to hide among the influx of people the railroad was bringing to Sage City. When Hong Kong Smith and his gang of murders rode into town and began killing innocent people, it changed things for Wes. His guns had to go on again. Master story teller Frank Gruber has done a magnificent job in the telling of this story. It reads like a movie the way the scenes change and the dialogue from the characters comes out. Great book.
