Price of 35s. net on the front flap of the dust jacket. Illustrated with a frontispiece and charts, tables, maps, and additional drawings of the British birds discussed in the book. Intended as a guide to British birds and their geographical distribution, as well as their ecological role in the forests of Britain. Written for both scientists and amateur birders. A very near Fine book in a Near Fine dust jacket with a spot of rubbing running the length of the spine panel, hints of general edge wear.
