Tiny chips and a couple of short scratches to the pastedown illustration on the upper board. Light edge and corner wear. Text block edges are lightly foxed. Previous owner's name and date (1927) on front free endpaper. Otherwise, inside pages are clean and unmarked overall. A Christmas tale about Carol Bird, a Christmas-born child, who is unusually loving and generous, having a positive effect on everyone with whom she comes into contact. The story was originally published in 188 and this is a British reprint. Most of the brief plot focuses around Christmastime. Illustrated with four full colour plates. Shipping costs may be reduced due to weight and size of book. .
