Ingalton & Drake., 1868. 1st. Ed.. pp.xv, 232 with four original hand-coloured albumen photographs. 8vo. Two pleasing bookplates. Hardback. Occasional minor foxing, o/w. contents fine. Original green cloth boards with bird designs in gilt on front cover and spine, all in nr. fine condition. A very pleasing copy indeed. Captain Clark Kennedy published this book whilst at Eton. The first bird book to be illustrated using photographs.
