About This Item

New York - Toronto: Longmans, Green and Co., 1944. First Edition . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. xii, 496pp. Mildly ex-library, as exterior library treatments have cleaned up nicely. Light wear, a few minor scuff marks, and several small, faint spots to cloth, though none of this wear is offensive. Remnants of newspaper clippings and dust-jacket discretely tipped in. A name in ink to half title-page and minor, unobtrusive pencil, here and there. Overall, a good, clean, sound and largely attractive copy
