1825. Hardcover. Leather bound with title on spine in gilt. The Lives of the Most Celebrated Characters of Every Age and Nation�To Which is Added A Dictionary of the Principle Divinities And Heroes of Grecian and Roman Mythology and A Biographical Dictionary of Eminent Living Characters, Published for subscribers, 1825. Interior hinge is worn but holding, frontis of thumbprint male profiles. Text block edges dyed yellow, interior pages are toned with minimal soiling. Page 189 upper corner nicked. Numbers written in pencil on front and rear endpages. Possible Taiwainese Pirate edition because of yellow text edges?
