The books are centered around a young girl from a minority ethnic group on her way to a prestigious intergalactic university, who ends up brokering a truce between the human race and a jellyfish-like alien species. First published as a series of trade paperback originals by TOR between 2015-2019, the first volume won both the Hugo and Nebula Awards for Best Novella in 2016. First Printings.
