About This Item

Philadelphia: MacRae Smith Company. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. 1967. Hardcover. Hardcover with dustjacket, book is in excellent condition with one remarkable flaw: the former owner's name (twice) on the inside of the front cover hidden by the jacket flap, the binding is tight and clean and the contents are fine, the jacket is price-clipped and has moderate edge-wear at the corners and spine-tips, the jacket is clean and presentable and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, the author writes the following: "Freedom is like a dike holding back the waves of oppression. It must be kept in repair or small holes will let the floods in to wash away the entire structure." These words are more important than ever today as we witness an all-out assault on our freedom and democracy that has the support of a large segment of the population ; 254 pages .
