Hodder and Stoughton, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 255 pages. No dust jacket. Yellow cloth. Contains colour illustrated plates and black and white illustrations throughout, some of which are coloured in by previous owner. Loose rear board due to cracked hinge. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Visible marking to some pages throughout, but text is not affected. Pages remain attached to binding. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine is severely sunned, with noticeable crushing and tearing to ends. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with visible marking also.
