FIRST EDITION with later issue d/w, octavo, red cloth boards, black lettering to front board & spine, xi+296pp+8pp adverts, VG- (slight fading to spine, slight chipping to spine extrems, light splotching to boards, bookshop sticker and large 'hikurangi' stamp to fep, light browning to page edges, slight foxing throughout, gutter completely cracked at pp16-17 with soiling to crack - binding is sound but a little shaky, tears archival repaired to contents page, slightly cocked) in d/w, tatty (Tears with loss of 5cm at top & 3cm at bottom of spine, heavy chipping with loss to top of wrapper, light moderate soiling to front & moderate soiling to inside)

Doran, New York, the story having previously been serialised in the Saturday Evening Post from May 24 to July 12, 1924. The full title reads Bill the Conqueror, His Invasion of England in the Springtime.
