Leicester, United Kingdom: Brockhampton Press, 1957. Bound in the publishers diamond patterned red boards with black title lettering to spine. All pages are present and correct with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. Six magnificent full colour illustrations by the inimitable Leslie Stead grandly supplement this tale of desert heroics ! This includes the frontispiece with what one assumes is Biggles looking incredibly like the famous Lawrence of Arabia ! A nice copy. Housed in the equally colourful Leslie Stead dustwrapper which has been neatly priceclipped. A little edgeworn to head of spine and the extremities. Minor signs of handling comensurate with age but a very presentable example nontheless. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Number 48 in the series folks !. First Edition. Near Fine/Very Good. Illus. by Leslie Stead. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. FIRST EDITION.
