All pages are present and correct with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. The usual dramatic full colour frontispiece by Stead starts this epic adventure off in swashbuckling style ! A very presentable copy. Housed in the Leslie Stead designed dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Biggles waves confidently from the front panel in full flying gear so typical of the 1940s era ! Very lightly creased to the edges otherwise a bright and presentable example of the colourful dustwrapper. Now protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition.
