With gilt lettering and rules on the spine. A touch of rubbing to the top and bottom of the spine ends and light wear at the corners. Light library marks on fly leaf mild and light occasional foxing to verso of the plates very clean and tight. With Flower pattern end papers adorned with 2 newspaper clippings with very amusing little stories "Just Wonderful"

Slight spine cockle. With 27 full-page plates, including the frontispiece; and 14 other illustrations of various animals, including a cougar, elk calf, and wolverine. A very attractive and collectible copy of this splendidly illustrated book on hunting big game. First Edition with matching dates of 1890 on the title and copyright pages; and no subsequent printings listed.
