Some rubbing and light bumping to extremities; a couple small spots of discoloration visible; a smudge line is present on the outer edge of the book block. Front free end paper and half title are creased as is p. 749. Interior is otherwise clean. A bibliography of historical, sociological, anthropological, religious, etc. works relating to sex rites and customs. About 9,000 items are listed mostly printed in the 18th, 19th and early 20th century but a number of earlier imprints are catalogued as well. Entries include title, imprint, pagination and often include notes concerning the content.
