About This Item
Chicago: Woman's Temperance Publishing Association, 1890. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. This is a rare copy of a publication on a controversial subject. M. Josephine Griffith was a Professor of Bible and Ethics at Cook Academy, a private boarding high school in Havana, NY. Bound with brown satin covers with gilt lettering on front board. Cloth shows moderate wear light nicking. Back board has a small dent. No writing in the book - not even an owners name. Decorative endleaves. Hinges are sturdy inside and out and binding is tight. Full refund if not satisfied.
