Stated Reinforced Edition. In the original dust wrapper which has a wrap-around illustration by Nonny Hogrogian (Caldecott Medalist and wife of the author). Two young boys seen in a previous author book appear here again and this time they think they have found a Japanese spy (The time is the early 1940's). INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR ON THE FFEP. Book with very light wear; traces of what appears to be bindery glue along the front cover gutter. Dust wrapper with light wear.
