Title page ( a cancel ) states 'New and cheaper edition' so we have the the second issue of the second edition. See Matthews and Miller's bibliography of Jefferies, ref. B15.3. Original blue cloth binding with coloured decoration and gilt lettering. No inscriptions. Lightly rubbed at edges, spine with a slight lean. 362 pages, 8 plates, 32pp publishers' cat. at rear for 1892. Approx. size 7.5" by 6". Quantity Available: 1.
