About This Item
Chicago: Florists Publishing Company, 1930. Hardcover. Near Fine/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. 2nd Revised edition - a very nice copy of this scarce title containing all sorts of advice for the gardner/farmer with an interest in sweet peas. Red cloth boards with gold lettered title surrounded by textured pattern are near perfect, as they are enclosed in tattered plain paper jacket. Jacket has large chip at head of spine, soil, pencil marks, several closed tears. Has protected the book quite well though. Only flaw is, oddly enough, a faint pink heart in crayon on page listing illustrations (somebody used mommy or daddy's book to flesh out their library, or to prevent them from growing peas).
