New York: Trident Press, 1971 full black cloth with silver lettering(intact) very minor sunning to edge,the book has a weak henge at page 14-15.The spine has a crease like something a dip(?)these big books usually have something going on with the spine. With the covers being Black It might not show up in the photos. Inscribed on the first leaf in black(may actually be in pencil,lead reflects back) "To Eolana- with gratitude and affection for her warm friendship, many kindnesses and invaluable help with our new home. Harold Robbins (underlined),Los Angeles,10 Oct 71", because of the stained top page edges, and the date I assume this is a first edition, It is the earliest dated signed copies I've seen listed over the years. The DJ: has done its job of protecting the book, but it has minor wear and tears to the top edge near the spine,unclipped $7.95.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/Good+.
