Leipzig: Otto Wigand, 1918. Paperback. 52p., slender paperback, very good. Second printing. "Bearbeitet und herausgegeben vom Europäischen Zentralkomitee der Indischen Nationalisten." Published in English as "Reflections on the political situation in India." Rai, a former lawyer who devoted himself to the struggle for Indian independence, stayed in the US from 1917 to 1920 and founded the Indian Home Rule League in New York City. In 1928 at a protest in Lahore he was badly beaten by police, dying soon after.
