About This Item
Bethlehem PA: The Bethlehem Book Committee. Very Good in Good dust jacket. First Edition. Hardcover. Two Volume Set; Both volumes of this comprehensive history of Bethlehem up to 1920 are sold together. Vol I was published in 1968 and Vol. II in the bicentennial year of 1976. Both were prepared by a committee headed up by W. Ross Yates. The books are clean and sound. Volume I has a strip along the bottom of the front board that is a bit faded, but it also has a lovely surprise--a charming color picture of a pioneer house set in (Vol. II has plain boards). The jackets show wear, but are protected by mylar Brodart covers. Bethlehem has a colorful history, beginning with the Moravians and continuing to a hallowed place in the annals of steel. .
