The history of the 25,000ers, the vanguard of the Soviet industrial proletariat, who were sent into the Soviet countryside to collectivize agriculture and serve as the frist ccolective farm chairmen. It was the regime's breakthrough attempt to implement a radical transformation of Russian agriculture and peasant life.
