About This Item
London: Dent, 1984 Henry C. McNeile served in the Royal Engineers in WWI, receiving the Military Cross for gallantry. Sapper has long been British slang for a military engineer and so he chose that as the pen name for what became a very successful writing career. This book contains 14 stories, including five featuring his most famous creation, Bulldog Drummond. No remainder mark, not price-clipped, a very slight bump on one of the top edges. Comes in a Brodart protective cover. All books are bubble-wrapped and placed in a sturdy shipping box when mailed. tracking number supplied on domestic orders.
