About This Item
UK: Odhams Press, 1957. Bound in blue cloth, stamped in gold in matching illustrated dust jacket. The book shows one bump and some darkening to extremes, the dust jacket shows some chipping (and some tape repairs to obverse of jacket). Shows okay in mylar protector. This book is inscribed and signed by the noted pilot, who according to the blurb on the front flap, continued flying operational missions after the use of the loss of lost both legs. The book is inscribed and signed on the front endpaper, but, alas there is a glue residue stain below the inscription. Still, a tough book to find signed. 255 pp. - Photo Illustrated. . Inscribed and Signed. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good +/Very Good.
