First published in 1894 the copy offered is no 244 of the limited large paper edition of 415 copies illustrated by Artist William Hole 1896 Being the Twelfth Edition on hand made paper with uncut fore and bottom edges to book. Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale. VG (Book- Fading and mild general shelf wear to cloth. Offset browning to free end papers. Ink gift insc. to George A. Mackenzie and date New Years Day 1897 to reverse of f.f.e.p. A few light foxing spots to frontis tissue guard. Binding sound with no other notable defects.
