Fine buckram-bound hardcover with a light bump to the lower tip of the text block causing a light crease in a Very Good clipped dust jacket with a touch of shelf wear, light wear to a couple of tips and the spine ends, and a couple of closed tears that have been repaired to the verso with archival filmoplast. Overall, a nice copy. All dust jackets are protected by a clear mylar cover. BOOKS SHIP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, WRAPPED IN PADDING, IN A BOX. The first book to represent the great art treasury housed in the Berlin-Dahlem Gallery, formerly the Kaiser Friedrich Museum. The paintings in the collection range from early 13th-century panel paintings to 18th-century rococo canvases with many Dutch, Flemish, and Italian paintings, many of the finest works of the French rococo period and the second largest collection of Rembrandts in the world.
