Berkeley, CA: Red Mountain Tribe, Publisher. Tabloid. Good. no date, presumed 1971. Tabloid format. 16 pp. Illustrations and photos throughout. A single issue of this radical, counterculture underground newspaper from Berkeley, California, formed after a split with the Berkeley Barb over labor issues. The Tribe embraced more radical and left-wing causes. This issue with a look at the escape of Tupamaro men and women from prisons in Uruguay; a collection of small articles relating to the women's movement and recent protests, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Moderate uneven browning. Minor soiling. Some chipping, creasing and tearing along the fore edge.
