Association copy: Signed and inscribed by author to acclaimed novelist Richard S. Wheeler (from his estate) on title page: "For Richard Wheeler / with great admiration / Dorothy Bryant." Gray cloth boards with author's name stamped in silver on upper board, silver titling on spine. Cover design by artist/publisher Russell Chatham and photographer Cody Redmon. A historical novel drawing on the author's family roots in Montana, specifically the mining town of Butte. Wheeler's own historical novel of mining in Butte, The Richard Hill on Earth, was listed among the best fiction of 2011, and received a starred review by Kirkus Reviews. Very slight bumping to bottom of spine and rubbing to back of jacket, else fine.
