Berkeley: Berkeley Barb, Inc, 1973. Newspaper. 40p., folded tabloid, illus., evenly toned, lightly edgeworn, address label on front wrap, else very good. Berkeley's longest running underground newspaper. Classic Barb issue featuring R. Crumb cover, first serialized excerpt from Tim Leary's "Neurologique" (grand theorizing about seven circuits of the human nervous system), Kate Coleman musings on her anti-crap obsessions, Gabrielle Schang on abortions, news on San Quentin 6 pre-trial, Wounded Knee, Chino 4 Trial, Kathie Streem on Tim Leary's escape trial, Bobby Seale's campaign for Mayor of Oakland, Watergate coverage, and three new Allen Ginsberg poems. All this along with 20 pages of sex and massage ads. Side bonus: Ken Kelley was managing editor.
