Faint dampstaining affecting some of the portraits; owner name; presentation label from a church else a near fine copy. History of jurisprudence and legal institutions from the period of the Mexican State of Coahuila and Texas (from 1824-1835) to the time of the Republic and Statehood. Includes 77 biographic sketches of eminent Texas judges and lawyers. Lynch gave up his legal practice to become an author & poet - this being one of his major works. Next day shipping.
