The top edge is gilt & the pastedowns & endpapers are marbled.The spine is faded to brown & the extremities are rubbed. [iv] & 183 pages; and 197,127 & [3] pages. Numerous black-and-white textual illustrations in the Daudet book. The pages in the Daudet book are darkened. A previous owner's name stamp & the signature of A. F. Chamberlain, one of the co-editors, appear on the blank preceding the dual title page. Good. <p>"Edited, with Lives of the Authors, Notes, and Vocabulary, by J. Squair and A. F. Chamberlain."
