Chicago: John Calhoun Club, 1931. 1st. Hardcover. One of 160 numbered copies bound in the publisher's original brown quarter cloth and decorated boards, spine stamped in gilt. Some minor soiling to boards and spine. Top edge gilt, bottom and fore edges deckled. Includes 14 facsimile illustrations, including 1 fold out. Annotations in pencil and ocassional ink by previous owner throughout, especially in the bibliography section, otherwise fine. Housed in a matching slipcase with an one inch tear in the decorated paper at the top edge and some soiling, otherwise fine. Near fine in a near fine slipcase.
