First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. x + 359 pp, faint pencil inscription on ffep, 8 numbered but untitled Books / subdivided by 20 titled chapters. Fr hinge with cracked seam between fly & t.p. paper browned, spine letters rubbed nearly off but barely legible, fr cover letters dimmed. Binding firm, with slight forward tilt, paper rear gutter between r.f.e.p. & pastedown cracked half-way from bottom, but firm. 5.25" x 7.7" black cloth with red letters. .
