London: Cassell & Co. Bound in brown cloth, with black and white lettering and beetle/moth line drawing decoration to front board, this hardcover First Edition is close VG. (X)/182pp with Index of Latin/English names, 12 coloured plates with tissue guards and 16 chapters including capture/collecting and preparation for the cabinet. Top/tail of spine slightly worn, odd marks to boards, slight foxing to tissue guards, slight yellowing of some page edges, inscript dated 1892 on FFEP. Minor faults but close VG . Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 1892.
