Dent,, 1899. 8vo., First Edition, on laid paper, with a fine portrait frontispiece in photogravure (original tissue guard present), title and in red and black, plates and portraits, neat contemporary inscription on front free endpaper; red cloth, upper board and backstrip blocked and lettered in gilt, gilt top, uncut, a very good, bright, clean copy. Published in the series 'The Master Musicians'.
