About This Item
NY: G. P. Putnam's Sons; (1931). First Thus . Hardcover. First Putnam printing, although the Minton Balch (original publisher in the same year) colophon is on the title page. Very good+ with no dust jacket. Black cloth with title label on front board and spine. The spine label is slightly darkened, and the cloth on the spine is a touch sunned. Slight wear at spine ends and top front corner, but a tight, square copy. Owner's neat bookplate on front pastedown, but no names or other markings in the book. Includes six illustrations (including a frontispiece photograph of Forrest), six maps, bibliographical note, and an index; 402 pages.
