Angus & Robertson, Sydney, 1966. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Very Good. 600 g; vii, 220 pp., map, appendixes, index. Very slight rubbing to the base edge of the dustjacket, and offset tanning on the top of the front paste down opposite the news agency sale sticker. Trotman joined the Lands and Surveys department in 1894 and was involved in five major expeditions into the interior, including the search for lost members of the Calvert expedition, the survey of the Rabbit-proof fence, and the survey for the Canning Stock Route.
