About This Item
FIRST EDITION in dust jacket. The book is good only with worn orange boards and paper loss on the pastedowns where the dust jacket was originally attached. The dust jacket is intact, with wear on the verso of the flaps from being removed from the book pastedowns; there is paper tape on the verso reinforcing the edges and names, probably a record of who had borrowed this from a lending library. 'It is Chick Weaver's job to make stars - stars more lovely and glamouous than the stars in heaven. Motion picture stars!' The cover features a paintings of a young woman in white gown with her hands behind her head - racy for its day. Uncommon - only one copy in the OCLC WorldCat.
