Row..., 1811. 12mo (in 6s), pp. [vi], 282, engrave portrait of Porteus as frontispiece, contemporary calf, panelled in blind on covers, gilt spine, black morocco label; base of spine and lower extremity of front joint slightly defective, front board slightly affected by damp at fore-edge. Porteus (1731 - 1808) published a large number of theological works. but the main thrust of these excerpts from his writings is towards evangelical Christianity.
